September 17th is the 2014/2015 Season Opener for the Canadian Authors Association Toronto Branch. I am the incoming President, and we have some exciting events in store for this year. In November, there will be a Short Story Workshop with Sharon Crawford, whose latest novel is Beyond the Tripping Point. Sharon is one of the Canadian Authors Association Toronto Branch Editors-in-Residence. In December, there will be a Christmas Party planned for mid-month. January will be the Writers Circle that has taken place for the past several years. March will be a Crafting the Novel Workshop with Bianca Lakoseljac, whose latest novel is Summer of the Dancing Bear, published by Guernica Editions. And the CAA National will be at Word on the Street in Toronto on September 21st, and at the upcoming Toronto International Book Fair November 13-16 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre!
